In August 2024, Prefile Services Organization (PSO), in partnership with Helping Hand for Relief and Development, successfully delivered life-saving food aid to 1,150 individuals in Somaliland. This impactful initiative provided essential support to Yemeni refugees, vulnerable members of the Somaliland community, and Sudanese refugees fleeing conflict. With the assistance of Yemeni community committees and local neighborhood leaders, PSO ensured that aid reached those who needed it most, bringing to countless families

This initiative was made possible through collaboration and shared dedication:

• • Helping Hand for Relief and Development: Provided critical funding and resources, enabling the procurement and distribution of food supplies.

• • Yemeni Committees and Neighborhood Leaders: Played a vital role in identifying the most vulnerable families and coordinating efficient distribution efforts.

• • A Team of 60+ Volunteers: The heart of this project, these volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure every aspect of the Project ran smoothly. Dispersing the food items, security, cleaning the venue to organizing the beneficiaries.

This project reached 1,150 individuals, providing essential staples like rice, flour, pasta, date and cooking oil to sustain families for a month. Each package represented more than nourishment—it was a gesture of compassion and solidarity with those enduring hardship.
